Alicia is everything we wanted in an Interior Designer. She listened with great patience. We made suggestions and she honed them into shape, she made suggestions and they were brilliant. We began our Cambridge, UK project with AZ Interiors with a few ideas, roughly communicated. We had a new build, which was rather blank canvas, but wanted to add our own touches and add storage - and since it is just a rather small 2 bedroom, wanted to maximise our space for efficient living without compromising a rather minimalist style. Alicia was able to use that starting point and through iterative design sessions get down to what was important to our family - representing our style, how we operate day-to-day, and, obviously important, our budget. We ended up with a home that felt like 'ours' from Day 1 and, while easy to live in, has a sense of sophistication that we would have never been able to do ourselves.Throughout the process we experienced clear communication, excellent project management, and timely responses to our many questions & feedback. She organised deliveries, contractors, and the inevitable "whoops" with pre-planning, quality checks, and an eye to detail. We've recommended AZ to friends and will continue to do so!

As an architect in practice for over 30 years I have enjoyed collaborating with Alicja of AZ Interiors on both residential and commercial projects to be most successful and productive. Her input is most creative and I recommend her to you.

I'm not sure how we managed before.... We cannot fault Alicia. She listened to what we were after, worked around some of our own pieces of furniture and soft furnishings and came up with a design we are 100% happy with. We couldn't be happier with the end result - both the quality of the pieces, as well as how they all look. Alicia made it look effortless, but we could have never achieved this by ourselves, worth every penny.

I wanted some help with a flat I had just bought - new kitchen, new bathroom, colour scheme for living room, curtains, blinds and lights. Alicia was very prompt, efficient and sensible as well as imaginative and tasteful, and always available over a period of three or four months. I was particularly impressed with her eye for practical detail, which only comes with experience.

Alicia helped us to redecorate our house, put in new carpets and install new curtains and blinds. We were in a bit of a rush and she was very efficient and everything was done on time and done well. Alicja is a very creative and talented designer, absolutely amazing, it was great fun working with her, she is professional and fun at the same time. Alicia once learning about the client's style and preferences has an extraordinary skill to transform it into an interior perfectly matched so the one feels strongly it is "her/his dreamed space". The effect mostly overcomes the expectations. She "sees" colours, patterns, shapes and how well they would match far before applying them, that I guess it is much thanks to her painting skills. She inspires those not certain of their own preferences. If they brave enough to trust her taste (as I was) she certainly positively surprise them with the result, so they then have no doubt why they hired her at first place! Her "fresh" ideas, ideally selected colours, comparing it "before" and "after" makes great difference to the final user. I decided to hire Alicia despite of living in different countries and being surrounded by other great interior designers nearby, as Alicia has that skill to be able to reflect the uniqueness of each person's style in the design project so the one feels "like home" in the interior designed by her. Her all projects have "that something", to me simply they have "soul".

Alicja is an incredibly innovative and creative person. She has a rare ability to understand people's needs and translate them into art and design. We have an open plan barn with lots of windows and white walls... very cool in the summer but not cosy in the winter. We were having difficulties knowing how to do the layout of our living room, where we wanted to have a big TV but wanted something more sophisticated than a cinema room. We also have two young boys so needed spaces that could cope with them whilst looking cool! Alicia came to our house twice and sorted us out! She recommended products to buy, space layouts and we are putting this plan in action.Her decisiveness is what is particularly good, whereas we could spend, days, weeks choosing a coffee table for example... she knows the right websites, with the best products and can help source unique items quickly.My husband and I can differ in view but she worked with both our views and has created a space we both love. I really recommend her consultation service...I have no time so it was an efficient and cost effective way of getting a full interior design service. Will definitely use again as we work on the other spaces in the house.She also saved us money because some expensive ideas we had she didn't think were necessary and gave better suggestions.
